Create an Easy Written Post

Creating an easy written blog post should be like entering information into a journal or writing a short article. When creating a post you should select a topic that is very specific. Each blog post should be a complete thought within itself and should not span multiple subjects.

The number of words in your easy written blog post should stay above 250 words to get better search engine optimization effects. A range between 400-600 is commonly used as the length most writers can communicate a focused message with supporting details. Some bloggers will even target a slightly higher range of 600-800. Again, it’s up to you and your readers to decide what’s best for your blog.

Before we get started in creating your easy written blog post, let’s identify how a post might be organized. The style is to create an opening paragraph which consist of 3 to 4 sentences explaining what the post is about.

Also have a closing paragraph which we will call the conclusion, which summarizes the information within the post. The information located between the opening paragraph and the closing paragraph is called the content. The content paragraphs consist of single or multiple paragraphs, these paragraphs normally consist of 4 to 5 sentences and each sentence never exceeding 18 the 24 words per sentence.

I started using this style when I attended my high school class reunion and had a conversation with my retired high school English teacher. She gave me some great tips on how to create an easy written blog post; she is a blogger from way back.

I’ll give you the step-by-step of the tips she gave to me:

  • Step one, first write your opening paragraph and normally answer the questions of “who”, “what”, “when”, “where” and “why”.
  • Step two, write your closing paragraph and summarize the answer the questions in the opening paragraph.
  • Step three, white your content paragraphs presented from the closing paragraph that answers “the how”.

The closing paragraph should consist of a summary of the content of the post. The closing paragraph should identify several items or reasons to answer the why condition. After completing the closing paragraph, take the items listed and use the list that you created the content paragraphs.

Once you have identified the content paragraphs, simply write 3 to 4 sentences about each one of the items identified, placing a heading or bullet point for each of the items.

Remember you want to place white space between bullets and or paragraphs to help the reader scan for the keywords they are searching for.

And finally, create a dynamic and exciting title for your easy written blog post.

An example:

Step one, identify the topic. “How to sell my home”.

First, create your opening paragraph. “When I decide to sell your home there are several factors I must consider. The first factor is to find a good realtor. Second, use the realtor as a guide to help in the planning of a how to sell my home. Third, determine what price range I will sell my home.”

Second, write your closing paragraph. “Prior to selling your home, choose a well-qualified realtor to help guide you through the necessary selling steps. The realtor job is to help protect and guide you in your real estate transaction and help get you most value in the sell of your real estate investment”.

Third, write your content paragraphs. Content paragraph 1 is on “Choosing a Real Estate Agent”, content paragraph 2 is on “Selling your home Planning Session” and paragraph 3 is on “Determining the Selling Price of Your House”.

The format of the post will have this format:

Paragraph 1:Opening Paragraph – 3 to 4 sentences explaining what the post is about.

Choosing a Real Estate Agent
Paragraph 2:Content 1 – Write 4 to 5 sentences that why use a qualified realtor to help sell your home

Selling Your Home Planning Session
Paragraph 3:Content 2 – Write 4 to 5 sentences that explains the planning session.

Determining the Selling Price of Your House
Paragraph 4:Content 3 – Write your 4 to 5 sentences that explains the process of how you determine the selling price of your real estate.

Paragraph 5:Closing Paragraph – 3 to 4 sentences summarizes the information within the post.

In summary, the first paragraph is the introduction, the last paragraph is the conclusion or the summary and the paragraphs in the middle are the body or the content of the post.

This approach helps keep your post organized and focused allowing you to manage the subject and post size.
